About The Foundation

The Youth and Children Development Foundation (YOCDEF) is an indigenous not for profit organization focused on youth empowerment with emphasis on training, awareness and advocacy in Wakiso,Mpigi and Mukono districts. YOCDEF was founded in 2017 to advance livelihood, sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR), HIV/AIDS, violence against children and economic skills empowerment.
YOCDEF focuses on critical issues affecting the health and economic systems of vulnerable and less-advantaged populations such as youths, children, women, orphans, sexual minorities, persons with disabilities and displaced persons.

OUR MISSION: To Enhance the Health, Socio-economic, and Livelihood Options of Youth and Children through Training, Awareness and Advocacy.
